Lake Life Living

This historic home sits on 3.8 acres on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.  The clients undertook an extensive renovation of the property, which changed the way the house related to the site.  The clients wanted to design a landscape that matched the significance of the house and their active lifestyle.

The renovation of the home included a new open-concept, gourmet kitchen with a view of the lake.  The client’s wanted the design to naturally transition from the inside dining space to their new outdoor entertainment space.  The large outdoor patio space includes an outdoor grill, pizza oven, and fire pit.  The large, tiered patio provides ample room for relaxing by the fire, dining and entertaining.  To fit their active lifestyle, the landscape also features a large walk-in beach to launch paddle boards and kayaks from, a lakeside bocce court, a large, level lawn for pick-up games as well as a regulation sized tennis court overlooking the entire property.
